Since our last product updates announcement, much of our team has taken well-deserved holidays to add value to our customers efficiently. A big part of our focus for the past few months was on adding additional accounting integrations and improving the ones we already have. Additionally, we listened to much of our customer feedback and optimized many parts there.

Planyard Cash-flow forecasting functionality B version ready to use

We have now released the functionality to help project managers and quantity surveyors easily forecast projects’ cash flow. The management dashboard enables you to follow if your project managers update the cash-flow forecasts, costs, and income projections—all to save your team’s time and keep your company’s cash-flow positive. Email white labeling to send bid request emails from your domain

Now you can send more trustworthy bid requests to your subcontractors and vendors. So the email goes from your work email address. To see how the Planyard bidding process works, please have a look here. To set up email white labeling, please get in touch with the Planyard support team via the website chat.

Visual estimating pipeline view to standardize client bidding

process

Planyard now lets you standardize the client bid requests collecting and sales pipeline management process. There is a visual sales pipeline where you can track the client bids in different stages, how many new bid requests have come in, which we are currently estimating, which proposals are sent, and when is the right time to follow up. There are more useful estimating features soon to be released.

Track the invoices waiting for approval but about to be due

Planyard automates the collection of invoices via various tools. You can automatically import them from your accounts payable email (See here), upload them from Outlook while browsing email (See here), and so forth. All the invoices are automatically processed by Planyard OCR, which extracts the invoice date, payment date, subcontractor, invoice number, and so on. Even if the invoice holds the purchase order number as a reference, the system automatically matches the purchase order with the invoice. That means there is less invoice sorting to be done by your accountant or office manager.

Planyard’s latest development is a central dashboard (see image above) where you can track all invoices waiting for the project managers’ or quantity surveyors’ approval. The red color-coded notification in the “Due date column” indicates that this invoice is past due, and you can quickly follow, up with the project manager, and ensure that the subcontractors get paid on time.

Centralized subcontractor and vendor performance management process.

The freshly released subcontractor and vendor, performance management functionality allow for setting up review questions that your project managers or quantity surveyors need to answer once the project has ended. The collected reviews are accessed under the Contacts tab and let your team work with the best-performing subcontractors and vendors. The poorly performing ones get excluded from the process before sending the purchase orders or signing the subcontract orders.
To set up the review questions, go to Planyard Company menu => Settings => Company-wide features => Subcontractor review questions. All the reviews are accessible under the Contacts tab, for example, whenever anyone in the team invites the subcontractors to bid.

Manually book subcontract order retention.

Previously Planyard only allowed you to book the subcontractor retention automatically. You entered the % of retention that you agreed upon holding from the subcontractor progress reports (Progress claims, Valuations), and the system automatically did the numbers tracking. Now you can also manually book the subcontractor retention. When you enter a new subcontract order, select “manually book retention.”

Kasutad endiselt eelarve haldamiseks Excelit?
On olemas parem lahendus.

Excel pole parim viis töökulude haldamiseks
  • Vigade tegemine on liiga lihtne;
  • Ei ole võimalik näha, mis on konkreetse numbri taga;
  • Raske standardiseerida;
  • Kasumlikkuse prognooside kohta pole reaalajas ülevaadet;
  • See tähendab projektijuhtidele ja raamatupidajatele topelttööd.
Planyard säästab aega ja närve

Jälgi eelarvet reaalajas ja tegutse vigade ilmnemisel viivitamatult. Töökulud on kategoriseeritud, täielikult otsitavad ja juurdepääsetavad prognoosimiseks, projektijuhtimiseks ja muuks.
