Yes. You can submit one or many POs for approval and convert an approved PO directly into a bill.
Dext extracts PO numbers, syncs open POs daily (last six months), and can add a match note on publish—helpful for tie-outs. They also note API limitations for Xero, so parity with in-ledger matching isn’t exact.
Use an approvals app to enforce multi-step routing and sign-off. That said, approvals won’t fix quantity/rate drift if your “real” PO still lives in Excel.
